Interconnectedness of All Living Things / Jeff den Broeder

(USA) Short Film

“The Interconnectedness of all Living Things” follows artist Georgia Hodges as she paints a mural in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset District. Searching for a way to express her love of nature in these pressing times she looks for a way to add a bold literal element to the mural. After reading the Green New Deal proposal sponsored by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Ed Markey she decides to incorporate excerpts from the document into the mural. She finds the document beautiful and inspiring and sets out to make the actual language not only accessible, but visually beautiful.
